Incorporates TDR technology to test for shorts, opens, miswires, reversals, split pairs, and shield continuity. Built-in port finder to locate corresponding sockets on hubs and switches. Calibrate Velocity Propagation abilities increases measuring accuracy for non-standard cables. Tone generator sends signals to either all or selected pin conductors. Test results displayed in pin-to-pin/wire map format. Compatible with any twisted pair of Cat3-6 cables. Locates faults within distances of up to 1,600'.
